A large late 17thC / early 18thC Scandinavian antique turned birchwood tankard.
With a finial-capped turned lid and shaped thumb piece, scrolled handle and baluster-shaped body. The body has been hewn from a single piece of timber.
The outer surface has built up the most wonderful patination over the years.
Condition - As per the images. Good overall. There is minor surface wear commensurate with age. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
