A beautiful Welsh antique oak apprentice's piece chest of drawers (with deal carcass), circa 1780.
Offered for sale in original condition - this piece also includes a number of letters dating back to the early 20th Century.
With a plank top; decorative gothic columns to the front corners and a formation of two over three graduated drawers (complete with their original bone inlaid escutcheons and brass handles), supported overall on bracket feet.
Condition - as per images. Some surface marks are commensurate with age. All in all a lovely period piece that displays very well. A further condition report is available upon request.
